Tying a Ribbon Around Our Wedding
We are wrapping up all the final things to do for the wedding. Remaining tasks are:
- Send out Thank You cards. All of our guests were so generous and made us feel so special trekking out in the aftermath of the “Blizzard of the year”. I’ve had a hard time picking a thank you, but I covet the ones to the right from white aisle. I love them. I should just go ahead and buy them.
Collage for thank you’s. Inside each thank you card I would like to have a collage of some of our favorite wedding pictures. That has to be designed and printed.- Print out our pictures and make albums for us and our parents. I want this to be some kind of holiday present but believe it or not I better get on it now or I will never do it.
- Video editing session. We got a fancy videographer because we loved his style. (Originally we weren’t even going to have a video and we wound up with the 3 camera shoot, voiceovers, the works.) So now we have to drive about an hour away to sit and do the editing session. Working that in to our schedule has somehow not become a priority anymore, but we should just get it over and done with.
- Change my name! I am having a bit of an identity crisis. I’ve changed my name professionally but not legally. I feel like a bit of an imposter. LOL!
And that should just about do it. All that planning, all that worrying, and it’s coming to an end. It really was a right of passage I think, and I am glad that we had the wedding that we did. Of course there are a million and one things that I think we could have done better, but in the end I am happy with it. And hey, I got to marry my best friend!
Now it’s on to trying to make some mini-me’s. ![]()
