Did you ever see the movie “Muppets Take Manhattan”?
Did you ever see the movie Muppets Take Manhattan? In it there is a song that baby Miss Piggy sings about all the stuff that she’s going to accomplish. The song is “I’m Gonna Always Love You”. Here is the video:
The verse that always sticks with me is:

It’s weird to have a song in your head since you were 7, (including the boop boop sha wah wah’s) but there it is.
When I decided to start a blog I wanted to get it topic focused, but much like this song I want to do everything! I want to learn to cook, run a marathon, be a great wife, be a mom, learn more about SEO/SEM, be a great project manager, write, dance, illustrate, decorate, design clothes, help inner city children get a decent education, type faster, and pretty much everything else (although I have to say I’m over climbing the Matterhorn 
).
So this blog will be about, well, everything. It’s called “check my belly” because at the end of the day, what I really want is a calm fulfilled feeling in my belly. (Also because I have a niece Isabella whose nickname is Belly and she’s quite awesome, and every time I think of the Austin Powers movie when the fat guy says to mini-me “Get in my belly”, I laugh. Even if I’m sad.)
